What do these class names mean?
Basics classes teach the foundation and principles of a flow-style yoga class. You can expect there to be a combination of standing and seated poses, and as such, these classes are moderately vigorous. These classes will prepare you for the Solar (Vinyasa Flow) classes on our schedule.
Lunar Yoga classes offer a slow, deep stretch with an emphasis on deeply releasing the hips, legs, and lower back. These classes are an excellent starting point as well as a complement to other activities (golf, running, flow yoga, etc). Most poses are seated, this class is not vigorous but will go deep. Great for anyone who thinks they are "tight".
Restorative Yoga classes are all about recalibrating your nervous system and practicing stillness, meditation and deep relaxation. These poses are all floor-based and use a multitude of props to bring your body into optimal positioning for relaxing deeply. These classes are extremely gentle and appropriate for anybody that has ever felt stressed and wants to learn a way out.
