Brand-New Beginners Yoga Series
A 3 Week In-depth Introduction to Yoga

If you're interested in yoga and want to really explore this life-enhancing practice, this Brand-New Beginners Yoga series is for you! This 3-week series of yoga classes is especially designed for brand new beginners to get to really understand the basics of yoga. You will be introduced to the fundamental principles, techniques and postures of a yoga class in a safe and supportive environment. You will also have an introduction to yoga breathing, meditation and relaxation in addition to the physical aspects of the practice. Absolutely no flexibility required! From this series, not only will you gain the confidence to join the regular classes at Kansas Siddhi Yoga, but you'll also initiate a practice rhythm by coming 3 weeks in a row, a perfect start to sustaining a lifestyle practice that supports your well-being.

Besides increasing flexibility and developing strength, a regular yoga practice will awaken the mind-body connection which allows you to release unnecessary stress and experience deep relaxation. This workshop is perfect for brand-new beginners or anyone who feels they have never learned proper alignment of the basic yoga postures and their truest purpose.

Please plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to the first session to complete your student registration information and begin your new path to increased health and inner-peace. You'll want to wear comfortable but not baggy clothing and a yoga mat and all props will be provided for you. You'll have opportunities to ask questions and we will go over modifications for injuries or physical challenges you might have.

This 3 session workshop is ideal for anyone who is reluctant to try yoga because you're concerned about jumping right into a public class or anyone who wants to take a refresher course with a friend or spouse. We'll break down the fundamentals of a basic hatha yoga practice and you'll have the opportunity to ask questions and explore yoga poses and conscious breathing without concern for "keeping up".
