Relax Deeply
An Evening of Gentle & Restorative Yoga

Our monthly Relax Deeply classes are an opportunity for you to schedule some "you" time. We are all quite skilled at scheduling time for kids and work but we feel selfish about taking time just for ourselves. Yet when we consider that what we give our families and our work is made up of what's going on inside us, we have to remember to replenish ourselves from time to time so we are giving from our surplus and not our reserves. These classes have also become an excellent opportunity for couples to take a little time together to restore the connection between you. At least one Sunday a month, make time for yourself so you can begin the new month replenished and restored.

This class is appropriate for adults of all ages, all fitness levels and ANY level of flexibility. "I'm not very flexible" is not a good excuse for not coming to this class! Our time together is comprised of gentle movement and stretches as well as nurturing and well-supported poses that offer us the opportunity to relax deeply and savor the sweetness of simply being still. These poses are especially beneficial for times of change or heightened stress in your life. Relax Deeply Yoga leaves us feeling well-rested and rejuvenated. This class will give you the tools to practice restorative yoga poses regularly at home which will help you heal the effects of chronic stress. This class is suitable for all adults - no previous yoga experience or flexibility required.

ABOUT THE TEACHER

Besides being experienced a Vinyasa Yoga teacher at Kansas Siddhi Yoga, Laura Williamson trained with and is teacher certified by Judith Hansen Lasater, this country's pre-eminent Restorative Yoga Teacher.

She is deeply commited to setting a tone of peace in the world, beginning right within our own bodies. She believes that a calm, peaceful attitude requires not only a mental commitment but a whole body commitment. Our Relax Deeply classes are a way to recallibrate the body-mind and begin to create new habit patterns within the body that ultimately affect your relationships and your outlook on life.
